Hi Dillon, Love your tutorials and already learned a lot! 🔥🤩 Just finished my first customised sneaker project ever and all went well except for two things; *The tongue of the shoe started cracking shortly after finishing my project on the creases without the shoes ever being worn. Should I have added Angelus soft to the paint as the tongue is very flexible? I used thin layers of paint and didn’t exceed 4 layers as I used a dark blue colour. *After spraying with the Krylon finisher, a slight dull discolouration occurred. Do you think I just used too much spray or is there another explanation for this? Had to correct all panels because of this 😅 I hope you can help! Hi there, I’m doing a LA dodgers custom for one of my buddies and the color looks really nice after 3 coats (it’s like a royal blue). I was wondering if the buildup of coats is just for the opaqueness or is it also necessary for the actual durability of the shoe? Let me know!

The hand painted gradient actually appears more flawless than the airbrushed. But when you airbrush you're not really using similar colors they're usually 2 completely different colors! I am not trying to be a professional, i just found a brand of shoes that I love for my daughter and they aren't very coloful. I want to do a "cotton candy themed shoe" (pastel pink, blue, purple) i do not want to buy an airbrush and she's just a kid and will likely outgrow/ruin them first. Would love some inspiration on this for either a gradient and/or how to create a fluffy cotton candy type look🥰

How many coats do I need to do with this toothpick method? I’ve noticed more paint is applied when I use the toothpick method so I assume I don’t need to do as many coats? Typically with the parts of the shoe I do with a paint brush I do 4 nice coats. Let me know!

Shouldn't you use the deglazer first and then sand it? Aren't you just sanding the topcoat which the deglazer already removes?
